The second episode of our weekly movie podcast, Film Spiel, is now online over at film-spiel.com. For those not in the know, Film Spiel is a new podcast hosted by myself, Anders Wotzke, the Editor here at Cut Print Review, and Dave Bradley, the film writer for Rip It Up and The Adelaide Review. Each week, we’ll be ranting, raving and arguing — especially arguing — about the latest movies to hit Australian screens. This week, we discuss Clint Eastwood’s latest Hereafter, Danny Boyle’s Oscar contender 127 Hours and the Ivan Reitman rom-com No Strings Attached. We also discuss at length the Oscar nominations; who was snubbed, who we’d like to win and who we think will actually win. Dave then sends me on an assignment to see his all-time favourite film, Terry Gilliam’s Brazil [1985], which we’ll discuss next week.
