On this packed installment of our movie podcast Film Spiel, Episode 14 to be exact, Anders and Dave kick off with another of the big blockbuster releases of late, THE HANGOVER: PART II, before Dave tackles GET LOW and CANE TOADS: THE CONQUEST. Then, as a change of pace, the lads discuss a movie currently available as either a free and legal download or on Transmission Films DVD, the fine Australian drama/horror mockumentary THE TUNNEL, before Anders addresses his assignment from last week, Alfred Hitchcock’s misunderstood 1948 classic ROPE, a film that so impressed him that he was moved to also catch Sir Alfred’s much-admired 1951 thriller STRANGERS ON A TRAIN, the conversation about which somehow leads to an analysis of The Internet Movie Database’s Top 250 films – a striking bunch, you know.
As always, send your feedback to or leave a comment below. We’d love to hear from you!
